The catch: do it organically. No paid ads, no big media spend, just relationships and word of mouth.

The grassroots playbook that ended in lines around the block.

Democracy Clothing was running a multi-city pop-up and needed lines wrapping around the building.

The audience

Women aged 30-60 who want to feel amazing in their denim regardless of body type.

We sourced creators with reach in each pop-up city. Our goal was to find creators with a positive body image brand that would connect with the Democracy mission.

Our approach

Build the influencer footprint

We tapped local Facebook groups, landed earned press, and got into newsletters that already had the right readers.

2

Go grassroots

The brief made creators and community partners want to come, told them what to expect, who'd be there, and why their voice mattered to the night.
3

Brief them to be excited

We built a comms system to keep RSVPs in the loop with reminders and reasons to be excited as the date got closer.

Stay top of mind

The story

Democracy designs denim for every body, and the brand has spent years telling women they deserve to feel good in their jeans.

The pop-up was that mission, live and in person. A room full of women trying on jeans, swapping their old pairs for someone else who needed them, and having fun connecting with other local women.

“Working with the Zage team makes everything so much easier. They're highly organized, incredibly responsive, and always go above and beyond. The team brings such a positive attitude to everything they do, you truly benefit from their partnership.”
